2024 Session

The 2024 Legislative Session has come to an end. Multiple anti trans bills were proposed and debated in committee this session; however, with the exception of House Bill 183, an anti trans sports ban, none of those bills made it to the floor. Despite overwhelming public opposition, and the Senate having no intention of taking up the bill, HB 183 passed on the House floor 22-18 after nearly 11 hours of contentious debate, only two days before the legislature adjourned. Clearly motivated by politics, not in the best interest of our students, community, fairness, or safety.

Send a message to legislators in Juneau, thanking our allies in the house that voted no on this harmful legislation, working tirelessly to stand up for all Alaskans.

Send a Thank you!

It only takes a minute.
