The 6th Annual Pride Block Party is happening Saturday June 29th from noon to 7pm at the Writer’s Block Bookstore & Cafe. 3956 Spenard Rd, Anchorage, AK 99517.

This year we have DJ Ms. Mixx, DJ KE and DJ Aud Pleas Spin ... three of the hottest queer DJ’s in Alaska spinning nothing but good vibes. We have the dynamic M.C. MoHagani Magnetek as our hostess doing the mostest to keep the crowd hyped up. We got some fresh BIPOC Queer artist vendor/booths with all kinds of arts and crafts for purchase. Delicious food and refreshing drinks will be sold by the Writer’s Block Bookstore & Cafe so there’s nothing else for you to do but show up and celebrate Pride 2024. It’s an easygoing community affair that’s totally free to attend and family friendly.

The Anchorage Pride Parade will circle the Delaney Park Strip, starting at 7th Avenue and E Street, and ending at the Celebrate Pride ‘24 Festival.

Join Native Movement for our 5th Annual Drag Story Hour! Thursday, June 27th starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Nave, Anchorage, AK. This free, family friendly event features local drag sensations Penny Dragful @_penny.dragful, Layla D'Lovely @layla.dlovely and Dela Rosa @official.dela.rosa as they perform songs and read stories for the whole family to enjoy! Hosted by Golden Delicious @goldenxdelicious . Free book giveaway and refreshments will be provided!

Join Ketchikan Pride Alliance for their Annual Pride Picnic on Saturday, June 22 from 12:00-4:00 PM at the picnic pavilion at Bugge / Rotary Beach. We’ll be grilling up burgers and hotdogs. Bring your own drinks, side dish, and snacks to share! Bring lawn games or anything you’d like to play!

March in the Sitka Pride Parade on June 22nd! The parade begins at noon at Totem Square but stop by early at 11:30am to make signs! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

When you arrive at the first clue/location take a selfie with the clue, then flip it over to reveal the next clue/location and so on and so forth. There are 6 clues/locations. ALL AGES! It’s for ALL people to attend. We encourage bringing folding chairs or blankets as this event is partially outdoors. No performance, just pure storytelling delight! Youth Advocates of Sitka and Sitka Pride are proud to offer Pride Among the Stars: Crafting Patches of the Galaxy June 5-7th. Pride camp welcomes 5th-8th grade students to explore identity themes, create buttons and patches and build community!
